UPSC Announces Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2011

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), New Delhi, has invited applications for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2011, popularly known as CSE. CSE 2011 is scheduled to be held on the date mentioned below. UPSC conducts the examination for recruitment to the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and certain other Group A and Group B Central Services/Posts.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website: www.upsconline.nic.in. Candidates applying online are required to pay Rs 50 either by submitting the amount in any branch of SBI in cash or by using net banking of SBI or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card. Candidates can also apply offline using the common application form devised by the commission for its examinations. Candidates can obtain the common application form from the designated head post offices/post offices (list available at UPSC official website: www.upsc.gov.in/) by paying Rs 30. Candidates applying offline are required to pay Rs 100 only through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp. For further details, candidates can visit the commission’s official website: www.upsc.gov.in/.
